I found this little gem while looking for French food in Sydney.
It's located right next to the tennis courts and a mini forest/ park area which was stunning.
The food....mind blown.... literally...
Cannot get any better.
Me and my wife ordered both Entree, Main and Dessert. The flavour and freshness of the food was perfect.
Customer service was friendly and professional.
Would be visiting again to celebrate any special occasion.
This has been my favourite restaurant for many years. I’ve been as a couple ( romantic), with another couple ( friends), a family group of 10, and a group of friends (6-12). I have never been able to fault it. I love the set price menu. Lots of choice, extremely high standard in every course. The staff are lovely, efficient, personable. Nothing is ever a trouble. $85 for 3 courses, $65 for 2. I think is reasonable for the quality of food. The atmosphere is great and combined with free accessible parking, you can’t go wrong. We will really miss them as they are closing down soon. I wish them all good luck and hope kitchen and house staff might open something close by.
Lunch yesterday was absolutely superb! So sad the restaurant is closing on 17th December. Hoping they reopen somewhere in the area as it is such a loss to the community. Thank you Olivier and Ingrid and your wonderful chef and team for so many memorable meals.
Will miss you guys. Very reasonably priced fine dining experience with awesome customer service. The beautifully crafted dish is comparable to those hat'ed or micheline'd restaurants. Very hard to book nowadays as they will be closed in 3 weeks.
We came on a Friday night for a beautiful French affair. We selected the entree and main option, and enjoyed:
To start; the elderflower spritz (which was beautiful and refreshing after a long hot Sydney day!).
For entree; the twice baked goats cheese soufflé, chive crèmeux, sauce florentine (so easy to consume and beautiful texture and flavour!).
For main; the lamb of the day was my request, it was served in a beautiful rich sauce with slivers of potato on top. The paired shiraz option was also fabulous an enhanced the flavours! The lamb was cooked to the perfect consistency for my liking.
Disappointing to hear this little space will be shutting down at the end of this year, it’s a beautiful dining experience and the outdoor/indoor options for seating are a bonus. The outdoor courtyard truly felt like a European experience.
First time visit for our anniversary dinner on a Friday evening. We sat inside although, also, there are covered balcony and courtyard options. Simply outstanding. Wonderful dishes and excellent value compared to city restaurants. 3 courses for $80. The lamb, fish, steak, scallops, French onion soup and soufflé were impeccable. Excellent service from knowledgable staff. No BYO on Fri or Sat although the wine list is good. We enjoyed St Emillion and Chablis. I will return.
Heritage home converted into a French restaurant serving course meals. Atmosphere is good. Most outdoor seating are under covered area. Indoor seating is through 3 separate rooms with 3-4 tables for two approximately. The dishes were seasoned just right and service was great.
Our third time visits to this restaurant, and it never disappoints us!
Nice atmosphere, kinda have the european-style dining vibe, with a fountain at the back and surrounded by trees. The best seating in my opinion is at the covered balcony.
The food was amazing, a delicious and modern French cuisine with a touch of asian. Personally I loved the duck leg confit. It's juicy and tender, especially combined with the sauce. Yum!
